🗳️ Why I'm Running: To give our community the resources it needs to thrive.
I'm Ashley Hartmeier‑Prigg, a lifelong resident of House District 27 (Beaverton and Cedar Hills), and I’m running because it's time we put our community's needs first.
As a Beaverton City Councilor and as a former member of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) board, I know that, for too many of our neighbors, the stability of daily life is constantly under threat. They face the daily struggles of food insecurity, housing instability, and inadequate health care. That’s simply unacceptable.
A healthy, thriving community is built on a foundation of security, including access to public education, clean air, and a safe place to call home. I’m committed to making that a reality for everyone in our community.
🛡️Protect Oregon Values
The federal government is threatening our fundamental rights – from citizenship to our democracy. Ashley will always stand up to extremism and defend what makes Oregon, Oregon: the strongest abortion protections in the country, LGBTQ+ rights, leading the fight against climate change, and our sanctuary state law.
📉 Reduce the cost of living
Groceries, health care, gas, and especially housing are unaffordable for too many working families. Secure, affordable housing should be a right, not a luxury. Ashley will ensure the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share so that working families can actually invest in their families.
🏛️ Increase government transparency:
Oregonians deserve a government that works for us, not the other way around. Ashley will lead with integrity and transparency, bringing the voices of those impacted most to the table and putting working families first.
